its cheaper to treat someone at the ER once a year for 1000 dollars than it is to have to cover them for 1000 each month even if they dont get sick.
Have you seen the prices of things in those European countries, with "free" health care? look at their cost of fuel, there is a health care tax added on to each gallon, how long until that happens here?

When there's lots of uninsured it RAISES insurance rates because the industry spreads the costs of caring for uninsured .

Then you should be FOR the ACA .

Leeches don't get health insurance (even tho they can) and when the get hurt or sick , we patch them up and they bail on the bill.

The engine analogy is about cheap preventive care (oil change ) will avoid a big expense in the future (blown engine ) .
