We had mayors of cities refuse to enforce the laws, telling police to stand down, that resulted in two deaths in Seattle. We have governors that refuse to enforce immigration laws that have resulted in deaths. I'm not dismissing bad cops by any means, they should be held accountable, just like mayors and governors. There is no "war on police," only war on corrupt police. There is a huge difference between honest police and corrupt ones. We saw corrupt police in Kenosha refusing to enforce the law, which resulted in two deaths and a serious injury, and we saw honorable police valiantly battling to protect our government on Jan. 6.
BTW: most murders do not occur in the presence of police. They usually are called to the scene after a murder has occurred.
