Why is Trump publicly calling out Canada, Mexico, Greenland and Panama Canal? Didnt he campaign on confronting China? Come on Trump

Actually it's due to El nino patterns causing a drought in central America.
Although the canal connects two oceans, its operation depends upon fresh water from the Gatun Lake, which has been dwindling in recent years due to a lack of rainfall. The drought has been further exacerbated by the effects of an ongoing El Niño.Mar 25, 2024.......

The orange shitfaced subhuman who said global warming was a "Chinese hoax".
It’s true that China has played a lot of people on the issue and their puppets in the demafasict party use it to make everything here cost more

Yeah I have no idea what weird thing you are talking about

What he's saying is, Greenland has become a bigger prize due to the retreat of ice across the Northwest Passage due to climate warming. The passage remains enticing, for the distance it can save on the journey between the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. In other words, control of the area is likely to become much more of monetary prize than in the past.

He's then making a broad brushed remark that Republicans/Trump supporters are all deniers of climate change, and as their leader, Trump is of course the 'Fuhrer' (his words).

It’s very national socialist of him to go to that title, can’t say I’m surprised from a dembot.

Trump is by definition, a sociopath. And the world revolves around him. Or so he thinks.

Trump in a nutshell.
I saw an interesting take on this from an observer online:

"We're in a world in which history has excreted a counter-elite of very low quality, with the previous elite having run out of steam, having encountered a crisis of legitimacy, having lost its way. And that's a very disorienting world in which to be."

I think he really nailed it there, including the way it's disorienting. And that use of "excreted" was PERFECT.

"Vomited" can also be used.

Canada is no friend either.

Canada and Mexico have both been giving us the shaft. Mexico is just the one that gets all of the press.

Our Northern border is just as bad as our Southern border. Canada is letting illegals thru in record numbers.

The amount of illegal immigrants crossing into Canada from the US is virtually the same amount, over 19,000 in one year. The US is no friend to Canada.

They're pretty much passing through from what I read.

The amount of illrgal guns coming in Canada form the US is a crisis. Fix that.

Trump ran on promises to somehow cause prices to decline. Now that he has been elected admits that he cannot lower prices, but he imagines that he has a mandate to achieve his private wish list.

Trump was voted in by Americans and even supported by many fiscally minded citizens around the globe because he represented more fiscal restraint/cost cutting a la DOGE, he was going to prevent Americas debt from going off of the cliff, return a global presence of peace through strength to defend key allies such as Taiwan and Japan, defend your border (for which Canada also pays a price as we have fentanyl coming into our country from these same cartels I'm sure) and confronting China so that America remains the Super Power of the world, millions of lives potentially saved.

Now, Mexico I can understand being called out, even the Canal and Greenland as these are key tenets of U.S security. Canada though is receiving more than our fair share of ink due to Trump. Media cares this much about Canada all of a sudden but not 100s of thousands being poisoned by your southern border? Come on maaaan.

If his actions before he takes office is any indication, he has said very little about China and tariffs, but raises the issue with Canada and Mexico and others? Didn't he suggest a 60% tariff on China? They are sending over the precursors to the poisons that have killed countless people in Canada too, that act is responsible for something like 100,000 U.S deaths a year!

Let's hope this isn't a pattern he will maintain after he takes office. Please DJT, stick to your promises. China needs to be confronted about their human right abuses and cheating on trade. All nations can do better but China is by the greatest threat to America and the biggest trade violator.

We'd all like to see peace in the world and we'd all love to see China become a true capitalist nations that supports human rights. This should be where his focus lies, no? To call them out and get them to change and if they do not, than he uses tariffs as a means to equalize the trade abuses.

DJT keep your promises. Canada isn't perfect and we could use some demands to adhere to human rights but we are your ally, for all of our warts.
