Canada doesn’t have an illegal immigration problem. We have about 30,000 people who overstayed their Visas but Canadians won’t work under the table, and no one can enter Canada without a visa except Americans.

Few Canadians have an interest in living in the USA. Canadians make and keep more of our money. Universal government funded health care, top level free public school education. Government funded university education. Low crime. Strict gun control. Longer life, better income. Canadian seniors have a guaranteed income of $18,888 each.

I agree in theory, however, Trump likes to set the expectations early and he signals all the time.

He is entering office during a more difficult time than his first term, far more challenges and it is incumbent upon him to prioritize. He should also call out Human Right abuses in other nations, it is currency and Goodwill that is important to Americas interests, just look at how Reagan leveraged this. He essentially inspired citizens to overcome the Russians.

Trump only won by 1.5% so it's clear their number 2 issue wouldn't have been enough on it's own.
