Why is Trump publicly calling out Canada, Mexico, Greenland and Panama Canal? Didnt he campaign on confronting China? Come on Trump

It wasn't trump's war, he inherited it and he brought it to an end and you can't even say it.
Evading the answer and thus construing an evasion to the question - typical MAGA

The issue was and still is:

Bottom line. America was at war in Afghanistan during Trump.
Soldiers were being killed in Afghanistan during Trump.

Just admit reality

Baby steps.

I'm not arguing the war did not exist during Trump's four years, why are you directing this at me?
I want you to tell jc456 that America was at war in Afghanistan during Trump's first term.

He'll listen to you.

No matter how many times I post the facts, he's still in denial.

Trump is a bully with a victims complex
Everyone in his eyes is taking advantage of us.

It is easier to bully our allies than Russia or China
It seems the victim complex is yours.

Soy boy socialist Trudeau is hardly an ally when illegals are flooding across the northern border from Canada.

When has Panama ever been an ally of this country?

'Trump puts the American economy first'

Last year, his wife quit her job because the cost of childcare was higher than her income. Since then, Mr Maurer has been the sole provider for the family and his wife has stayed home with their eldest child as they await the new arrival.

This would not be the case, Mr Maurer believed, if Trump was president.

“I feel like [Trump] has a handle on making it about the American economy first and the American worker first,” he said.

Trump’s plan to preserve American jobs and to tackle inflation will mean a more affordable reality, he thought, because business costs would mean cheaper childcare.

Again, I never said the economy wasn't a huge issue, but Joe's wide-open borders was another HUGE issue. Stop trying to tell me differently. Millions of Americans have been totally disgusted with Biden's immigration policies, and it played a huge role in the election.

we weren't. It was an inherited conflict that trump cleaned up.
Actually Trump didn't end the war in Afghanistan.

And the idea it wasn't a war under Trump because he "inherited it".

That's stupid even for you.
Nixon, Truman, Johnson all inherited a war from their predecessor.

it was never a war.

BTW - you are a DISGRACE to the USA, it's population and NATO, that suffered more then 10,000 dead and maimed in Afghanistan.
And you MAGA's then dare to talk about the NATION and being PATRIOTS !!!:cuckoo::cuckoo:

Why don't you just get it over with? - e.g. an honest answer = I WAS WRONG

And then you can continue with whatever Trump/MAGA blah blah.

Trump was voted in by Americans and even supported by many fiscally minded citizens around the globe because he represented more fiscal restraint/cost cutting a la DOGE, he was going to prevent Americas debt from going off of the cliff, return a global presence of peace through strength to defend key allies such as Taiwan and Japan, defend your border (for which Canada also pays a price as we have fentanyl coming into our country from these same cartels I'm sure) and confronting China so that America remains the Super Power of the world, millions of lives potentially saved.

Now, Mexico I can understand being called out, even the Canal and Greenland as these are key tenets of U.S security. Canada though is receiving more than our fair share of ink due to Trump. Media cares this much about Canada all of a sudden but not 100s of thousands being poisoned by your southern border? Come on maaaan.

If his actions before he takes office is any indication, he has said very little about China and tariffs, but raises the issue with Canada and Mexico and others? Didn't he suggest a 60% tariff on China? They are sending over the precursors to the poisons that have killed countless people in Canada too, that act is responsible for something like 100,000 U.S deaths a year!

Let's hope this isn't a pattern he will maintain after he takes office. Please DJT, stick to your promises. China needs to be confronted about their human right abuses and cheating on trade. All nations can do better but China is by the greatest threat to America and the biggest trade violator.

We'd all like to see peace in the world and we'd all love to see China become a true capitalist nations that supports human rights. This should be where his focus lies, no? To call them out and get them to change and if they do not, than he uses tariffs as a means to equalize the trade abuses.

DJT keep your promises. Canada isn't perfect and we could use some demands to adhere to human rights but we are your ally, for all of our warts.
He is the dumbest man that I ever met.

Rex Tillerson on fat donald trump

it was never a war.
That's not what the army says.

a Medal of Honor cannot be given when there isn't a war, as the criteria for receiving the medal requires the act of valor to occur "while engaged in action against an enemy of the United States" or during a military conflict with an opposing force; essentially, it is awarded for extraordinary bravery in combat situations only.

The border wasn't enough to get Trump elected.
It didn't work in 2020, and it wouldn't work in 2024.

As James Carvell famously told Clinton "It's the economy stupid"
That's what wins elections.

There were 12 million illegals in 2020
There are 12 million illegals in 2024

How many migrants have crossed the US southern border?

US border officials record "encounters" with migrants - these include people who attempted to cross illegally and people who tried to enter legally but were deemed inadmissible.
These encounters have risen to record highs under the Biden administration but not to the level Trump - who has not provided a source for his claim - maintains.
Since January 2021, when Joe Biden came to office, there have been more than 10 million encounters - about 8 million came over the southwest land border with Mexico.
Under the Trump administration, there were 2.4 million encounters on this border.

WTF does it take to pound this into your head?!!!!!!!!!

The economy is ALWAYS at the top of the list of most important issues, in EVERY presidential election in the U.S.! It's nothing new now, it was nothing new when Clinton spoke those famous words!!

And again, why can't you understand this. In 2020, the immigration issue wasn't a huge issue because Trump was still in office, and he had measures in place to limit the #'s coming in.

In 2019, as a candidate for president, Biden at one of the first Dimocrat debates famously made this invitation that set the stage to what would come once he became president:

Then, once he became president, he killed all Trump-era border and immigration policies, such as ending border wall construction, and the flood began as never before.

my insults are factually based.
He doesn't want it back, he wants them to do their fking jobs and that will be his objective and in that he's really good at.

Trump isn’t really good at anything other than lying and cinnng people.
ahhh feewings

So you have nothing. As always.

If you lived here, you would know your first sentence makes no sense into what has happened SINCE 2021.

The issue didn't become a HUGE issue UNTIL Biden became president and invited the flood.

The “issue” became HUGE when Donald Trump started lying about it in 2016 and FOX and the rest of the right wing media picked up the chant.

Obama holds the record for the most deportations by an American President. Even Biden has deported more illegals than Trump. Clinton holds the record for Employer Prsosecutions.

Trump just locked them up at taxpayers expense. Illegal border crossing were at a 50 year low when Trump was elected. Trump created a border crisis so he could build the Wall, declaring a national emergency in 2019.

Trump closed the border during Covid and then claimed he’d solved the “crisis”. But as always Trump made it worse. He fired all of the immigrant support workers and cancelled all programs.

As people waited in Mexico, there was no one to assist them when they arrived. idiots like YOU then blame Biden for what happens when th border re-opened.

Gullible and stupid. As always.

He is also calling out China. But our closest allies/trading partners have backslid considerably during four years of Biden and in his own weird Trumpian way he is just reminding our closest friends/allies/trading partners that he expects them to be friends and fair trading partners.

And the media per usual takes what he actually has said, hinted out, opined, suggested and twists it into a policy statement which was not intended at all.

Do not fear. If Canada allows it, President Trump will be the most loyal and best friend Canada could ever hope to have and will be that honestly and without hidden motive.
