He openly supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and sat silent when Putin boasted that Ukraine was just the first step in reassembling the Soviet Empire. Thus, Trump also betrayed the legacy of Reagan and George HWBush.

Trump’s behavior of NATO and his embrace of Putin are a complete betrayal of everything American world leadership has represented for a century.
