It depends on the value of what she can provide. One angle Dotard may be pursuing is to get Maxwell to implicate a political enemy in order to focus attention on someone else besides the obese, orange, rapist.

One thing is absolutely for sure. Having Blanche do the interview with no transcript of what was said should send up a big red flag. The interview should have been handled by career prosecutors from the SDNY who are familiar with the facts of the case. Having Blanche conduct it, given his prior association with trump as his personal defense attorney, couldn't be more inappropriate. But then breaking ethical rules is a daily occurrence for the regime.
