The vast mjority of the country does not have any idea, why the Republicans and especially the MAGA nutballs, support protecting the pedophiles, criminal sexual abusers and the close friends they associate with. One could only guess, they fear Trump could prove to be one of the group, and their devotion to their politics outranks any moral obligations, as they think their should be no moral obligation to be against such things, if members of their group engage or engaged, and constitute a power base in their party, from a political or financial standpoint.
A true example of "Politics makes strange bedfellows" or in this case, Politics makes strange bedfellows acceptable.

Watching Joe groping and sniffing young girls and putting his hands in private places while Progressives said nothing kinds of nullifies any comments on this issue. It is a shame that most of the diatribe in recent years and decades is smearing. Religion is not perfect. And people who profess to e Christians are not also. Yet this vulgarity society we have engendered has become more and more vicious. Why we would have people in politics who do this is mesmerizing and what is worse, it is covered up when questions arise.

I dont understand this approach. I do understand the desire to protect trump but it is such a volte face that it defies any logic.

As it stands the gop is going into the mid terms as the pro paedo party. That will be difficult to sell to a faux religious electorate.
Maybe their candidates in primaries should go on record where they stand on the issues ?
