Let's start with your misinformation about HIV transmission. Women are at high risk for HIV because the vagina is just as absorbent as the anus. Women are at a 5 times higher risk of contracting HIV from an infected male than if their situations are reversed and she is the one with the infection.

Young people are becoming infected because they believe they are invincible and because Americans pull their kids out of sex Ed. They aren't getting proper sex education from their parents, who either don't know or don't think their little darlings would ever engage in this type of activity.

The children of fundamentalists are at greatest risk because they are taught nothing about gay sex other than its an abomination.

Children thrive when they are raised in a family where their parents love and support them. If their parents have a loving marriage, that's a bonus. More accurately many states didn't recognize civil unions. And civil unions didn't covey the same rights as marriage.

'Separate but equal' has an absolute shit history for one major reason; those imposing the separation are doing so because they *don't* believe what is on the other side of the separation is equal.

Polygamy is incompatible with our marriage laws. As you've already admitted. And that incompatibility would establish a valid justification for not incorporating polygamy.

Let's say a husband and wife have a father who owns a couple section of valuable farm land. The fathers wife died so the land will pass to the son with a hefty inheritance tax.

It would be difficult to prove the three don't love each other and they won't be moving in together, why not simply all marry and rid themselves of the huge tax burden?
