Milk is nutritious, filled with so many good things for the body, but adult humans are the only species that will drink the milk of another species.

But did you know "casein" is highly addictive? It is the protein we use in all forms of cheese.

But it took a lifetime to learn exactly what goes on in a modern dairy farm.

I use to laugh at these people, but now I know the truth.

I love milk. My grandfather was part dairy farmer and sold milk of his cows. I think I'll go get a glass, right now. Raise a Glass to Wholesome Milk: Pure and Refreshing.

Anyone who claims to love animals should have nothing to do with dairy. It's one of the worst industries...It's as exploitative as it gets, and cruel in so many ways.

There are actually lots of reasons to ditch dairy, but this quote eloquently explains one of the main reasons why I will never again partake in the dairy industry:

I believe Paul was speaking prophetically and this -- in part -- is what he meant when he said, "ALL OF CREATION GROANS..."

This is part of our calling. Creation is WAITING for us -- the Christian -- to take his and her place as sons and daughters of God, restoring Godly rule and bringing true peace to the earth.

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body

Excellent insight in regard to Romans 8:22. Now that I think about it, I totally agree, on both counts.

I get that many people are simply unaware of what goes on, for example calves being forcibly taken away from their mother on Day One which is incredibly cruel to both the baby and the mama... and what happens to baby male calves, who are useless to the Dairy industry... often treating God's creation like it was garbage. And so many other things.

But that said... sometimes it's really disheartening that most Christians are either unaware, or worse...just plain apathetic about our calling and role, and instead do the exact opposite of it. Totally missing Jesus words about wanting God's will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

In another thread I quoted Jesus (without mentioning Him) saying, "Many are called, but few are chosen."

He called that sentence (he thought it was mine), "word salad."

This topic alludes to what He meant.
People hear the truth, but most will reject it. I think more people than not understand the evil of the dairy industry, but culture and tradition and habit keep them from being appalled by who we are. So they mock the person who unde stands. We are crabs in a bucket. Rather than admit error and change, they will attack the messenger.

Many hear the truth, but few are chosen -- because they reject the message
