Why I carry a handgun.......

....

You should try so you can report on your experience.
Not interested. I've looked into it in the past, but I have a young child in the house, and I'm not too old to handle most things with my own two hands yet.

It's not that difficult, as long as you don't have a criminal record. It requires too much time and expense, but it is not accurate to say that it's not possible. So, Jackassaxle saying "can't" is untrue. My oldest son is working on getting his driver's license right now. That takes a lot of time and expense too. Anything the government regulates is gonna take time and expense, unfortunately.
I never claimed it's impossible. What I claimed is the government makes it so difficult that most normal people haven't got the time to jump through the hoops.

And only the rich and powerful have a prayer to get a concealed weapons permit.

Gun control is class warfare writ large. The rich can have them, but the poor can't.

This is exactly why so many of my German friends never got a driver's license till they came to the states.

Then again....I remember seeing German bus drivers able to negotiate big buses in smaller than normal parking lots, and without clipping all of the tightly packed cars.

Getting a license in Germany is tough and expensive on purpose.

Not to mention the price of gas makes mass-transit a better option.

It's hilarious all of the bikers that come out of the woodwork on weekends.

Guys wearing full leathers looking like Mercury Astronauts and riding small crotch rockets.

My brother did a lot of reloading with his own press,.....but now he can't do it because of his arthritis.

Glocks don't like using reloaded ammo.
I don't own a Glock, can't stand them, and I used to reload but now that I am old I don't have the time to do that any longer.

Most of the people in MA that I know who have a license are not rich. If fact, it is more likely to be the working class folks like me. The rich in MA are more likely to be uber-left and entirely opposed to the 2nd Amendment.

Yet they have guns or armed guards.

The 2nd is for THE PEOPLE, not the rich.

The 2nd allows THE PEOPLE to defend themselves from the desires of the rich.

I have a Glock 22 40cal.....and I think they were just a fad that's history now.
I know it's not the best for accuracy....but I trained on a Beretta 9mm.....so I tend to prefer them.
I have a couple of dozen new guns I have to get registered on-post so I can go to the civilian range at Ft Campbell.
When I go in with the forms....their eyes will bug out from it.
I'd also like to try out my silencer on my Springfield.

I'm pretty confident I work in a much more "dangerous" area than most if not all of y'all, and I don't feel the need to be armed at all times. Do you all work at gas station convenience stores in Kabul?
You never know.

I could obtain a firearm in MA if I were so inclined. Stop talking out your ass. And who are these "betters" you keep alluding to? Are you being stupid on purpose?

Didn't take long for you to walk back your LIE.

Again, what the hell are you talking about?

Are you spamming just to pad your postcount or are you too stupid to figure out how to use quotes properly?

Everyone is your better.

And now you lie, with your usual flying spittle and incoherent screeching.

Point out the lie, jackass.

You will, as always, lie again about your lying. You claim that it is "not that difficult" to get a CCW permit in Massachusetts. That is, of course, a lie.
I didn’t say anything about a CCW.

Having a California CCW since 2011 I say give your State a shot at gettin a permit ( even if it seems impossible , it could happen if your county sheriff issues at all )
We've covered this.
