Unlike most elections, most voters have already experienced the differences between the last two administrations. In neither case did the world end or the U.S. cease to exist, so why has the hysteria reached such high levels during this election? I think the unprecedented legal prosecutions of Donald Trump have a lot to do with it. On one side, people believe that he is an evil criminal who deserves his just deserts. On the other side, people believe that he is a martyred victim of government oppression. The truth may lie somewhere in between, but these two beliefs seem to have no room for compromise or concession. As a result, each side has dug itself into a position where fear of being wrong is greater than the satisfaction of being right.

I hope that that the hysteria caused by this unique situation will not repeat itself during the next election.

The cope on the left is reaching the highest levels. Their lies are mounting and they know it is all going to come crashing down. They are so desperate for a “win” to justify the belief in their lies.

Just look at the lies all these lefties need others to keep telling them is “true”:

1) The Vax was “Safe & Effective”.
2) J6 was an “insurrection”.
3) People can “change genders”.
4) Ukraine is a “democracy”.
5) Abortion is a “woman’s right” and not the murder of innocent human life.

There are many more lies the left need to hang onto, but these are the big ones this election cycle. We know the abortion one is the most important to them. Probably because most Democrats at some point in their life either had an abortion or coerced/suggested to someone else to get an abortion. This makes them murderers in the eyes of God, and they can’t deal with that reality. So they need to perpetuate the fake reality that abortion is a “right” and it isn’t killing anyone. They feel that “winning” an election by any means necessary will justify their beliefs and will somehow exonerate them from damnation for their mortal sin.

Damn garbage fuckup

How bad does your bagina hurt.

so why has the hysteria reached such high levels during this election?

Easy. Because 60-80% of the people in this country are so wrapped up in their own lives and problems throughout the year that they are essentially idiots easily lead around by the nose by the fake news government-media propaganda industry, properly dumbed down to believe they are still living under the false illusion of real elections determined by the people and our news industry actually delivering to us the facts independent of the government they are supposed to be watching over.

You sound triggered. Sounds like I must of hit the nail on the head.
Dude, fuckup has been getting gayer for years.

most of the hysteria is coming from the left .. while the right paints the left as out of touch and stupid .. the left paints the right ass fascist Nazis that want to put political opponents in camps .. that's a fact ..while many on the right believe leftists are effeminate and unwise the left believes the right is evil ..

I always thought Trump was a joke but after January 6, I've considered him a real danger to my country and our democracy.

We will still have our democracy if Trump wins. We will still have our democracy if Trump loses.

It's all bullshit.
Depends on how you define democracy. Both sides are in a race to see which side can get control of the presidency, the Senate, and the House all at the same time. After that they can do pretty much whatever they want and bring on one party rule under their policies and stifle the other side from ever winning again. It's just a question of which side will be able to accomplish this first. Democrats were pretty damned close. Thank God that Joe Manchin and Kirsten Sinema stopped them.

People are frustrated because, once again, the two shit parties have saddled with a comically bad "choice". All they have is fear mongering. All they can do is tell us how bad the other candidate is, and they're both right.

Just say no!

I don't think either side is there yet.

Though I have to admit, getting a criminal conviction of a political opponent on a charge that would not be brought against anyone else on the planet is getting pretty close.

All it takes is one party rule and then we will be right where Russia, Venezuela, and some other countries are with elections where the other side never stands a chance and they call it democracy.

Because leftists have been told to be hysterical. It really is that simple.
