The Second Amendment confers a right to keep and bear arms. That is a right that "shall not be infringed." No exceptions for felons or other social undesirables are mentioned, and that is the Constitution, an Amendment duly proposed and ratified as part of the Supreme Law of the land.

Shouldn't the Second Amendment trump laws statutes which are not in pursuance of the original Constitution, as properly amended, by a process of proposal by Congress or Convention and ratification by the legislatures of 3/4 of the states?
