A typical free market capitalist is not concerned with the american school of economics , or national plans for a directed economy , and the american school of economics was abandoned in 1974 , when economic liberals demanded that the us abide by a laissez faire and free market economy on a global scale .

Much like republicans who believe that blanket tax breaks and dergulation will foster domestic industries that will pay down us debt , democrats promote government funding for targeted industries with the same budget balances .

The republican tax cuts are being funded by cancellation of government funding for a green deal , while several trillion dollars over 10 years for a child tax credit is stupid .

The green deal by democrats promoted a planned economy whereby government sets up contracts , tax incentives and grants for industries targeted as useful for increasing domestic productivity and wealth of us nation ; however , democrats are negligent in a directed economy due to its social spending , and in its failure to safeguard us industries , and by funding globalists for free market capitalism and laissez faire economics , with little or no allegiance to us peoples .

Potholes, traffic lights, and parks are the province of local town / county governments and not funded by federal income taxes, but by local property taxes, fees, and local sales taxes. Much of it is squandered but while waste occurs, at least it's localized not hard to spot.

Our President is cutting Federal taxes (I regret he has little power over my cities taxes) and we will just have to get by with less funding for Transgender Opera in Ukraine, Iraqi Sesame Street, DEI programs, and sending Social Security Benefits to 130-year-olds with no fixed addresses.
