Why don't Democrats present their own budget proposal?

Carping about the Big Beautiful budget bill without any alternative proposal of their own shows how shallow the Democrat Party has become. "Just Say No" is not a replacement for well thought out policies and arguments. Instead, they are falling over themselves trying not to offend their traditional constituencies rather than putting forth proposals which reflect common interests. If they can't even articulate a concrete alternative to GOP policies, how long can they continue as a genuine political party?

There was never a replacement plan despite almost a decade of campaigning on repeal and replace. So to your point… present something better instead of just bitching about it… right?

how about never passing the Marxist totalitarian thing in the 1st place .. this countries greatest hope for survival is to keep the people and the ideas you support from ever being elected and regaining power .. Trump should've beat Harris by 20 million votes ! the fact that he only one by 1.5 million is a bad sign for the country and proof positive that common sense is close to being the minority .. when that happens and common sense is the the minority the Dems will take permanent control and the country will ultimately fail ..
