As far as mutilating sex organs (most males are circumcised as babies), thing is, FGM is not unique to Islam, Christians in North Africa perform it as well, and mummies found by archeologists determine that the practice predates Christianity and Islam. It is not called for in the Koran and is not practiced outside of North Africa.
