Why doesn't USMB use the Gameroom/Casino feature of vBulletin?

It's about the only vBulletin bell and whistle you don't have here.

Players "gamble" with virtual "bucks" that they can also donate to one another. It's really pretty cool and keeps folks hanging around the board alot more, and allows for more socializing.

Seriously though, it would be nice if we can keep it civil. More socializing and less politics which always creates tension. A way to blow off steam.

I have been playing chess for money for 28 years. You would be amazed how much it changes the game at $100 a piece and $500 for the loss.

I'd be broke pretty quick, I think I'll stick to cards.

I play Hold Em on Facebook quite a bit or use to quite a bit. Got up to 5 million chips before I decided to enter a couple 1 million chip tournaments and had a bad losing streak at the wrong time.

i play spades on yahoo...no cyber money exchange or anything....but there are plenty of gaming sites that have money exchange in reality...

but i got to go with gunny on this....why bother?

i still would like skulls instead of medals..ya know...and personally i would like the icons to have a greater variety..you know maybe a pagan flag, a christian flag etc. or perhaps symbols such as money bags or trees...you know get down right personal with it..
