Dont their three wrinkled, old, White and rich candidates have anything interesting to say?
FYI - There're very few differences between the two parties, if any. A lot of folks are either die hard Republicans, or die hard Democrats. The major of voters do NOT understand politics, how it works, nor do they really care to learn. Their mind is set and locked onto a party, and nothing anyone says will change their minds. Truth is a hard pill to swallow, and it's evident by the number of voters that continue to do the same thing election after election, yet expect a different result.
Very few voters are educated in politics enough to know that politics is a cruel game played against this once great nation and her citizens. Voters can't get it in their heads that all professional politicians are bought and paid for. "The Washington Brotherhood" is an entity unto itself, answerable to no one except itself. To politicians, the American people are nothing more than a source for votes and tax revenue, period. Voters blame either Republicans or Democrats for our many social and economic woes, but never blame themselves for allowing the crooks to sit in government. To hear voters talk, everyone in Washington just waltzes in and takes a seat. Voter don't stop to think that they have elected the damn crooks to serve in government.
Our problems didn't start yesterday, last month, last year, nor the last decade. What we're seeing and experiencing today, has roots that go back over a half century. Yet, many voters think that all of our problems started with either Obama or Bush II. And, they refuse to check to see exactly when everything started falling apart in this country. I'll bet the farm that come November 2016, voters will once again elect a professional politician to run this once great nation, then they'll complain for the next four years about our many problems. They elect, and they complain. Same routine every four years. They never learn.
