Why does obama give free housing to illegal aliens but not to homeless citizens?

With obama it's all about race. Lots of homeless are white while nearly all illegals are non-white.

Garcetti Convening With Nonprofits To Shelter Undocumented Children In LA « CBS Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has convened with nonprofit groups to shelter undocumented immigrant children in L.A. while they await court hearings on whether they can remain in the United States.

KCAL9′s Bobby Kaple reports Garcetti said at a forum Tuesday the Department of Health and Human Services reached out to him about the possibility as federal authorities grapple with where to place undocumented children, fueling an ongoing debate about the nation’s immigration policies, which have led to rallies in Murrieta and across the Southland this month.

Homeless activist Ted Hayes, who has lived in L.A. for three decades, opposes the idea, insisting there are American kids on city streets who need help first.
“It’s kind of a slap in the face to U.S. citizens,” Hayes said. “It’s embarrassing. It’s hurtful. Because it’s like a father saying that he loves children outside of the family more than he loves his own.”
“We feel for them,” Hayes continued. “We feel their pain. But we are feeling pain of our own children first.”

seriously, you can't figure that out all by yourself ?

Free shelter to immigrants dates back to Ellis Island

First of all, you are entirely wrong in what you are saying. If you are speaking about the children from Central America, their race is White whether you want to believe or accept that or not because that is a Fact. If they are Hispanic or Latino (because there are many other people with different backgrounds and ancestry there too) you would be talking about their Ethnicity, not race which again is White. Why can't you people with great prejudices ever understand that, one just has to wonder?

Secondly, President Obama has to provide good shelter to the refugee children due to the law that George W. Bush signed in 2008 that allows them to stay in a comfortable setting until they get their day in court, that's why he is required to keep them housed in the meantime. But you make an apples to oranges comparison here in trying to equate the American homeless with the Central American refugees. Different laws apply to each group. The homeless more often than none are American citizens who can apply for social services to help ameliorate their conditions. And refugees have protections too under Bush's law and other laws that are not connected to the homeless.

Immigration, illegal or otherwise, is entirely a federal jurisdiction.

Social programs for the poor are handled by the states even if not entirely funded by them.

Was that so difficult?

If there seems to be an over-abundance of homeless in your state look at your lousy state government for answers as to why they do not have access to shelter.

No free housing. Just speed up the expedition process out of the US.
Yes free housing, food, and care and give them their day in court because it's the Law!

Have the judge at the checkpoints as they arrive and send them back. Its not difficult to do or understand.

This is too cartoonish to even respond to.

The law requires a full immigration trial with counsel for these children.

Absolutely not. Courts at the border could bring them in for their day in court in a matter of days or weeks and quickly expedite the process. Cartoonish is not looking for solutions if reference to changes in law.

I have no problem with "changing the law".

But as it stands now, there are tens of thousands of children already in line waiting for their trials. There's no way to speed it up other than hiring more judges and lawyers.

His voting base in Chicago are upset beyond words they can communicate. I feel for these poor souls Obama dumped after counting their votes. African Americans are beginning to realize that Hispanics are the new love child of the Democratic Party. Their power and influence will "necessarily" have to diminish in the Party.

Why wasn't there 100,000 children at the border rushing to cross in 2008? Those Central American countries were shit holes from the day they were founded.

It's heart warming to see you epically clowned every time you crawl out of the "racist" section of the board in your recruitment drives...

.

Where does the constitution say that?. All it gives to the feds re immigration is the power "to establish a uniform rule of naturalization". By the tenth amendment, everything else is up to the states. THINK
