They were never accused of using a sharpie.

Get an adult to assist you. The claim was that when Trump used a sharpie he somehow changed what NOAA had prognosticated. He hadn’t.

NOAA had already clearly included ALABAMA WITHIN THE CONE OF UNCERTAINTY.
