It is not the USA charging them a tariff, they are charging us, and have been for ages. We are only now starting to charge a much lower tariff because they refuse to drop theirs.

Soon as theirs comes off, so will Trump's.

Let's be honest-- -- what they are really mad about is that if Trump forces them to let our products into their country to compete fairly with their products and many shift manufacturing to the USA instead of there, not to mention paying their way in NATO, etc., it will mean a lowering of their standard of living.

Your smart phones for example are made in China - and this is not the fault of China - that's your own fault. I heard now Trump made smart phones free from tariffs. But what will happen if China makes now an export fee and charges every smart phone with $125 and call it "Donald Trump fee"?
