Why Does Europe Resent and Hate the United States?

Why are you continuooisy envolved in wars?

You made a lot of money with world war 1+2 - and Europe payed for.

Whats a totally absurde nonsense. You blocked all ways for Euorpe to get a better defence systems and sold you relativekly bad and expensive weapons to Europe because of NATO-compatibility.

Trump cancelled the TTIP negotiatisons long ago. Trump not agrees with 0% tariffs for industrial products.

Accurate? Sorry ... I'm the German realist. You are an US-American dreamer. Meanwhile you dream artificial nightmares.

Because the USA is the most unfair trader in the world following exclusivelly only self made rules which are changed when anyone else makes money? Example: Your politics "America to the Americans" is a disaster since centuries. Meanwhile you think only the USA is America.

It's not thinking at all. It's just simple stupid to believe in the own stupid lies of the own war propaganda of all wars you ever did do. The Confederates for example had been much better soldiers than the Unionists. how I do know? They killed as many Uunionsits as Unionists killed Confederates - but the cojnfedretes had miuch less soldiers.

Germany is resentful because of your unbelievable number of war crimes you did do in Germany? The East Europene people are resentful because you sold them to Stalin? ... Little Mr. Absurdity: no one in Euope is a bad loser - you are just simple a bad winner.

Learn first something about reality before you use an old and essentially wrong US-American war propagada by trying to reduce 50,000 years of German history to the 12 years between 1933-1945. We always loved the USA - also before World War 1+2 and after World War 2. The Russians hate you - your allies in two world wars. That's why Trump fights for Russia now. Looks like he loves it to be hated - and his ass loves it to be kissed. Specially for him we will have to construct eine verdaungstraktsformangepasste Handgranate mit Zungenzündung.

Is that why Trump just extended Sanctions against Russia?

@Welfare Queen

I did not translate this because anyway you will not notice what others say to you. You US-Americans are probably the loneliest people in the world because only your own opinion means anything - no matter how unreal it is.

I am on a high-level aviation message board with roughly 50% of the members being overseas. It is pilots, engineers, mechanics, etc.

Wow. If you have to tell these people these things, they can't be too bright. I would tell them they are mad at themselves. It is not the USA charging them a tariff, they are charging us, and have been for ages. We are only now starting to charge a much lower tariff because they refuse to drop theirs.

Soon as theirs comes off, so will Trump's.

But then they know that. Let's be honest-- -- what they are really mad about is that if Trump forces them to let our products into their country to compete fairly with their products and many shift manufacturing to the USA instead of there, not to mention paying their way in NATO, etc., it will mean a lowering of their standard of living.

And a concomitant raising of ours. They have been living high on the hog at our expense for a very long time.

What's wrong in very most cases. The criminal high traitor Donald Trump is a machine gun liar. He lies faster than anyone is able to correct his lies. His simple salveholder idea behind his tariffs politics seems to be that others should pay for the USA - tariffs instead of taxes - what is impossible to work. The US-American people will pay the tariffs - not the producers will do so. And because the dollar is low this will be a lot of more money than are only the tariffs. So this will reduce the chewing power - ahm sorry: purchasing power - in the USA and make the USA less interesting as a market than it already is.

Your smart phones for example are made in China - and this is not the fault of China - that's your own fault. I heard now Trump made smart phones free from tariffs. But what will happen if China makes now an export fee and charges every smart phone with $125 and call it "Donald Trump fee"? I fear Donald Trump is much more stupid than most people are able to imagine so he continuously throws with all forms of hate stones into all directions of his own glass house.

You show here in a very nice way your elementary error in reasoning. "I am great if others are little" what's the backside of Trumps "divide et impera" politics. Germany for example has not any problem if all nations in the world will be rich. Then we will produce more luxury goods.

So, as a Dim you support China and the rest of World screwing us in trade. Why am I not surprised? :(
Actually in this case you are the one who is "dim" because you apparently cannot find your own ass with both hands.

The answer to the question you so disingenuously asked is right in your op.

I am on a high-level aviation message board with roughly 50% of the members being overseas. It is pilots, engineers, mechanics, etc. There has been much discussion about the tariff situation, and what comes through is a great deal of anger and resentment toward the United States. The sentiment is almost universal amongst the Europeans. This has me wondering why?

I presented a number of facts to these posters regarding the resentment.

1. America essentially won two World Wars for Europe that Europe started.

2. America largely helped rebuild Europe after WWII.

3. America has paid the vast portion of NATO expense since WWII to defend Europe.

4. America has allowed Europe and the EU to have higher tariffs than the U.S. for decades because the U.S. wanted "to help" Europe post World Wars.

I believe these are accurate facts. If anyone disagrees, or would like to present their own facts, please do. And yet despite this, Europeans appear very angry that the U.S. is asking for a fair playing field regarding trade and tariffs. Why? Is it delusional thinking? Should Europe be grateful to the U.S. for our help over the last 100 or so years?

Why is Europe so resentful toward the U.S?
They didn't until the trump mob went there and started telling them how evil they were...all the while bowing to the murderer. Poootin.

It generally doesn't, but it knows most Americans perception and knowledge outside their border is piss poor at best, and their arrogant.

Your thoughts on the wars confirms that, taf.
