Why does America think the GOP only cares for the Wealthy?

When someone makes that accusation, I notice that most, if not all of those on the right on the USMB, defend that position instead of denying it. They will say, "Rich people are job creators" or "Rich people already pay too much" or "Why shouldn't rich people keep what they earn"? Or they bring up socialism or communism or some other wild accusation.

But where do they talk about the Middle Class?

Where are their policies to help the Middle Class?

I know they ran on "jobs jobs jobs", but they also tell us that "government can't work" and "government doesn't create jobs". So what kind of help does that leave for the Middle Class? None?

Is the GOP solution for helping the Middle Class, "Don't help the Middle Class"? I honestly can't think of a single GOP policy that isn't geared toward the rich. If there are GOP policies designed to help the American Middle Class, what are they? No one can seriously run on, "You are on your own".

First of all, the top 2% EARNED their "doubled" wealth. Second, the top 1% EARNED their "quadrupled wealth". Only liberals want everything handed to them. The wealthy people are wealthy because they went out and earned it. Bill Gates averaged 18 hour work days during his time at Microsoft and he was exceptionally talented. He earned every penny of his billions.

As far as "everyone else" - you're not even remotely qualified to speak on their behalf. My salary has increased almost every single year since I entered the work force, and in some cases it was substantial increases (in some it was minimal). You are where you're at based on one thing and one thing only: you. If you have "gone no where", it's because you've done nothing. It's your own fault - plain and simple. People will pay large sums of money to a person who brings value to their organization. What skill sets do you bring to the table? Apparently none if you have gone "no where". Why did the Yankees sign A Rod for $250 million? Because he brought a skill set to the table that few could. Why did the Chicago Bulls throw $30 million per year at Michael Jordan? Because of some idiot liberal Socialist belief? No - because Michael Jordan brought a skill set to that organization that made him a valuable asset to the Bulls.

When you develop skills that are in demand, you will get paid like a person in demand. As long as liberals sit at home crying for the government to implement Communism instead of making themselves in demand, they will continue to "go no where".

Chickens can stop producing eggs for a variety of reasons and it usually indicates something is wrong. Fix what is wrong and you're back to laying eggs again. If Dear Leader would quit acting hostile to business and threatening to confiscate their hard earned wealth, they might relax and start laying again. This country is all about class warfare, always has been. Its what capitalism is supposed to be about. The so called american dream is just that, a dream. If you can barely afford a house and barely afford to eat then you are living the american dream.

Well, I grew up dirt poor, I mean we had 6 kids in a 2 bedroom house , no hot water , our toilet that did not flush. IT was bad. I grew up and now own a house, send my kids to college without student loans. Why because we worked hard for it . The American dream is not going to fall in your lap you have to work for it. Sorry nothing in the constitution that everyone deserves to own home but you have the right to work for one and buy it . Everyone makes choices when they do their life. Do I think some people need help but it should not be their life to get hand out after hand out. Welfare was not designed for that it was a stepping stool so people can get on their feet. So many people think its free money. Why work when the government is going to give them a check to sit at home. Just like the 99 weeks of unemployment so many people are just sitting on their arse until their 99 weeks is up. I know there are people out there truly looking for a job. There are more millionaires who are democrats in the senate than republican. I am as middle class as anyone in this country and have benefitted from republican tax cuts each time. My experience has been that democrats do things to you, not for you! Every time they pass what they call "tax reform' my taxes have gone up. So much for being truly for the middle class.

When St Reagan signed the Income Tax Reform act in 1986, my taxes went up big time.

You must be rich, because my middle class income warranted a tax decrease.
