I am on a somewhat different page than you are when it comes to the topic of a true Christian getting trained and being willing to defend others who cannot easily defend themselves,
National-political prejudices have NOTHING to do with defending anyone. Mormons believe that they do and that is why they are willing to murder.

That is how you see it.....
and that is your choice....
but the obvious fact of history seem to me to be that
since WWII the USA has done a vastly better job of policing the world than The British Empire did for the five hundred or so years before WWII.

If America had not defended the world...
Russia or China would have certainly done it.

No. It is not a 'choice'. It is a fact ..... and I can prove it - just here below. Look :

You have just proved my point. You believe that national-political prejudice equals defence and you agree to murdering people over the issue. That's your God ..... not mine. :eusa_naughty:

I believe that Genesis chapters forty eight and forty nine have been happening and the great, great, great, great grandchildren of the twelve patriarchs have forgotten who their grandparents were, but those predictions from Jacob - Yacob to his children have all came to pass. The point is that there should be a spiritual awakening in our time that was backed up by freedom of religion that is only allowed in a few powerful nations, America has been the leader in freedom of religion.

You do have a valid point though that there is something terribly wrong with our approach to how amazingly we have been blessed.

[Howard Storm]

The Future of the United States

Howard Storm recorded how his light being friends told him, in 1985, that the Cold War would soon end, because, “God is changing the hearts of people to love around the world.”

Storm states, “Since the time in 1985 when I was told these things about the future the Cold War ended with little bloodshed due to the hearts of people being unwilling to tolerate oppressive regimes.”

Storm described what the light beings told him concerning the way things will be on Earth in about 2185.

He asked the light beings the question, “Will the United States be the leader of the world in this change?”

The light beings replied, “The United States has been given the opportunity to be the teacher for the world, but much is expected of those to whom much has been given. The United States has been given more of everything than any country in the history of the world and it has failed to be generous with the gifts.

“If the United States continues to exploit the rest of the world by greedily consuming the world’s resources, the United States will have God’s blessing withdrawn.

“Your country will collapse economically which will result in civil chaos. Because of the greedy nature of the people, you will have people killing people for a cup of gasoline.

“The world will watch in horror as your country is obliterated by strife. The rest of the world will not intervene because they have been victims of your exploitation. They will welcome the annihilation of such selfish people.

“The United States must change immediately and become the teachers of goodness and generosity to the rest of the world.

“Today the United States is the primary merchant of war and the culture of violence that you export to the world. This will come to an end because you have the seeds of your own destruction within you. Either you will destroy yourselves or God will bring it to an end if there isn’t a change.”

Storm states, “I don’t know if the richest country in the history of the world is doomed to lose God’s blessing or if the people of the United States will become the moral light of the world. How long will God allow the injustice to continue? The future lies in the choices we make right now. God is intervening in direct ways in human events. May God’s will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!”

In his 2000 book, “My Descent into Death,” Storm described possible timelines of a future Golden Age and a possible future of immense destruction. According to Storm, we currently live in a time when humanity is caught up in materialism, greed, and selfishness. Environmental degradation is worsening. Nations are aggressive and militaristic. Religion is more institutional than spiritual. We’re at a critical turning point. Humanity is choosing between two paths: destruction or transformation. If humanity fails to change, from between the 2030s to the 2060s, there will be worldwide environmental disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes, storms), the power grid will be sabotaged, a global financial collapse will occur, wars will break out around the world (no nuclear war), and social chaos will be widespread. A utopian future can occur between the 2100s and the 2200s – but only if humanity changes course now. This utopia will be a “Golden Age” when all war, poverty, and injustice are eliminated. The Earth will be healed and sustainably managed. Governments will be based on wisdom and compassion, not power. Spiritual beings will interact more openly with humanity. Life will be guided by divine love, not fear. But if destruction occurs before this utopia, there will be a recovery period between the 2060s and the 2100s when communities will emerge based on cooperation, love, and service. People will return to spiritual values. Technology will be reintroduced gradually, used ethically and sustainably. Storm was told that the future is not fixed. Our choices now will determine whether we face destruction or a spiritual rebirth.

I believe that Genesis chapters forty eight and forty nine
Have you found those chapters yet, the ones with God's signature?
America has been the leader in freedom of religion.
No, it hasn't. The US has been targetting all sorts of people because of their religious beliefs ..... and killing them.
So, to make things clear .... you think it's OK for Russia or China to invade your country and kill your countymen because they do not agree with your political system.

Good question. You ask about "God's signature," are you referring to what is termed The Bible Codes or the Torah Codes by author Michael Drosnin by that question?

Drosnin describes an alleged "Bible code", in which messages are encoded in the Hebrew Bible. The messages are purported to be hidden in the Torah, and can be deciphered by placing the letters of various Torah passages at equal intervals in a text that has been formatted to fit inside a graph

Yes.

No. I've never heard of them or him. I am referring to the fact that man wrote the bible, not God. And if there’s a Creator (we assume there is) then I imagine He/She/It can find a much better method of letting us know what is expected of us on earth in life.

Why does the FBI, CIA and NSA recruit Mormons?

Is it mainly because they tend to have a second or third language from their foreign missionary days?

Or is it because Latter day Saints tend to be a whole lot like Mr. Charlie Kirk who clearly was willing to die for his beliefs?

I heard an amazing interview a few days ago that if I can find it fits perfectly with this topic.

On that note I personally have my own little conspiracy in mind that I feel I must divulge free of charge to anybody who will do their homework.

LDS are trustworthy and more willing to follow the laws of the land. Article 12 of the Articles of Faith in the Pearl of Great Price. "We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law. Article 13 - "We believe in being honest, true chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men........" Many people learn more than one language. And, that can be important for overseas. But, again, not the main reason. When the Church was still affiliated and the driving force of Boy Scouts of America, many employers saw those who are Eagle Scouts as people they want to hire too. Probably still do.

All true and valid points......
but in my opinion the biggest thing that Latter day Saints have going for them is that they PRAY continually and actually seek to be guided by the Holy Spirit, [the Ruach ha Kodesh in Hebrew], on a day to day if not even on a moment to moment basis!

The Latter day Saints who I have met mostly lived by what was shown to near death experiencers about the power of Prayer.

2.

In recent decades, the relationship between prayer and healing has moved from the realm of personal belief into the domain of scientific investigation. A growing body of research, conducted under rigorous clinical conditions, suggests that prayer may indeed have measurable effects on physical health. Studies published in respected medical journals and reported by major news outlets such as the BBC have found statistically significant improvements in outcomes for patients who were the recipients of intercessory prayer – even when they were unaware they were being prayed for. These findings span a range of medical conditions, from heart disease to AIDS, and have been echoed in the work of researchers like Dr. Larry Dossey, who has extensively explored the healing power of prayer. Together, this emerging evidence points to the possibility that prayer taps into a form of transcendental consciousness – one that may influence health and healing in ways science is only beginning to understand.

I just found an astonishing group near death experience account firefighters, several of whom were Latter day Saints. This happened in 1989. I actually read this years ago but just found it again today. This story illustrates the point that Latter day Saints have a much greater than average sense of DUTY, even to the jobs that they do.

2. John Hernandez’s 1989 Group NDE

Arvin Gibson met John Hernandez when he came to his home in 1996 to be interviewed by Sandra Cherry, a near-death researcher doing work for her Master’s thesis. John had previously called Gibson from Colorado after having read one of Gibson’s books. On that occasion John explained over the telephone what led to his NDE. His experience was sufficiently interesting that Gibson’s local chapter of IANDS invited John to tell his story at one of their meetings.

John began the day with a feeling of foreboding and indicated to his wife that he might never see his family again. He found that many others on the crew also felt uneasy. He said it was difficult to explain, but that he was uncomfortable leaving his family on that day. He had a premonition that something untoward was about to happen, but he felt duty-bound to respond to his work commitments.
The prediction that they were given that nobody would be harmed by the fire was a truly astonishing miracle.

His great-grandfather ultimately communicated by mind thought to John that it was John’s choice whether or not he should return to Earth. Not wanting to come back from the beautiful and peaceful place that he was in, John argued with his great-grandfather. Explaining that it would be devastating to return to a horribly burned body, John pled with his great-grandfather to remain. John said that all of this communication was by questions he would think of and have instantly answered in his mind.

John was informed that neither he, nor any of his crew who chose to return, would suffer ill effects from the fire. This would be done so that “God’s power over the elements would be made manifest.”

And, that's a great testimony for John. But, it is doing nothing for your family future. That would require baptisms by water and spirit by one holding the Aaronic (priest) or Melchizedek Priesthood (elder) with proper authority to use the power of God. Then, it would require the rest of the ordinances including washing and anointings, endowment covenants and sealing you to your wife and family. "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord (2nd coming): And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, LEST I COME AND SMITE THE EARTH WITH A CURSE." - Malachi 4:5-6 Elijah came to the Kirkland Temple in 1836 to give the keys of binding (sealing) families together which requires genealogy work and temples. John, I'm sure, has his temple work done with his family. You don't because you let this stuff consume you damning your potential progress. Judaism does not have any of this even though Malachi is in the Hebrew Bible. They do nothing because they have no authority to do anything and God isn't giving this to them. Wake up!

I do admire the fact that you obviously feel that the Latter day Saint church is the best church on earth. I have to admit that I do consider them to be one of the best.

It’s not about being best. It’s being sanctioned and run by Jesus Christ himself through prophets he called. We have the Keys of the Kingdom through his priesthood. Including the Keys Elijah has of sealing families together.

True, that is another one of the reasons why the FBI and the CIA openly recruit Latter day Saints.

Exactly. These individuals know how to follow orders without question and how to carry out those orders.

But it may well have been gifted Latter day Saints and other gifted Christians, in the NSA who decided back well before 2015 that a plan needed to be set in motion to clean up the CIA and FBI. Apparently they asked Mr. Donald J. Trump if he would be willing to become the President who would preside over that clean up that needed to be done if America and this world was to be saved from a "dystopian nightmare" as some term what could be coming, if we do not change our ways.
