Maybe Democrats expect US companies to take from their profits to remain competitive? Guess what geniuses, foreign companies could do the same if they were forced to pay tariffs because they need the US consumer to buy their products. The US holds the cards in this battle due to the strength of our consumer. Targeting tariffs make more sense than higher corporate taxes for every US corporation.
