One of the few benefits that come from inflation is the rise in value of the home. That's actually the majority of what makes it easier in some respects. Inflation is not a net positive for a working class homeowner overall, if their wage doesn't keep up with inflation. Inflation has more of a beneficial effect for the government when it comes to borrowing. It doesn't really help most individuals.

Inflation makes the dollar worth less. They have to spread more of it to get what they had before. The amount they pay a month on their mortgage doesn’t change, but everything else does around them.

If they don’t have a interest rate that’s locked in, then. They will be paying. More to have that mortgage

I totally agree on the interest rates, which is why I referenced that earlier in this thread. I also agree that derivatives are a problem. The other things I mentioned don't conflict with either of these things, however.
