§ 175.10 is what he was charged with, falsifying business records to conceal a crime. § 17-152 was the crime he tried to conceal.
The basis of the question was what felony was Trump charged with. He wasn't charged under 152, he was charged under 175.10.
There were three possible concealment of crimes that could be used as motivation for the for his illegal acts under 175.10:
- Cohen's conviction for feloncy campaign finance fraud,
- Interference with an election under New York State 152,
- And violation of New York tax law (I forget the number) by improperly classifying reimburseale expenses as income payments for attorney fee's to Cohen.

You have to watch it with Trump defenders, they act like the underlying crime for 175.10 has to be (a) charged, and (b) committed by Trump. So they like to deflect. That is not the case in general, they only have to be shown as a motivating factors to the jury. But in this case you have the ACTUAL conviction of Cohen for the crime, and the Trump scheme to hid the payments to Cohen to cover up the crime by laundering the money through his business entity.
