Why Do Trump Supporters Have Such A Hard Time Admitting He's A Convicted Felon?

He was charged with felonious falsification of business records under New York State law.
He was not charged under any federal campaign finance law that the FEC would have had purview over. WW
So bottom line: will the 34 "felony convictions" be overturned on appeal or not? Y/N?

Did you read the law professor, Turleys analyis?

If Turley is right, why is it taking so long for Trump to win his appeal?

Do you understand that New York actually changed it's laws on purpose of lawfare so that E Jean Carrol could sue Trump?
Yes, I do (as I stated in the previous post and you were unable to see it or even comprehend it), but that doesn't APPLY to the case where Trump got convicted of felony charges!

Do YOU understand that?????

True

You should learn to think or yourself, not what some talking head tells you what to think.

No violation of FEC law, no conviction. Merchan is a clown and will be reversed.

You are missing what he was charged with (New York State Felonious Falsification of Businss Records) and the MOTIVATION as to why he did what he did.

Let's take a murder case. A husband kills his wife. The prosecution presents evidence that:
  • The husband recently had a large life insurance policy taken out on his wife,
  • There was evidence presented that the wife was having an affair with the pool girl.

The jury then evaluates the facts on the commission of the crime (murder), then then have to determine motivation - money or infidelity. All 12 jurors have to agree on the events of the crime. They DO NOT have to agree with the motivation.

The fact that Trump falsified business records to cover up Cohens crime was presented. Cohen was charged and found guilty of federal campaign finance fraud. The prosecution presented that to the jury.

So yes there was an FEC violation, and yes there was an FEC conviction - but it was Cohens. Trump wanted to retry the federal conviction of someone else as part of his case. That is not allowed. Once a federal conviction is finalized, then it is a considered a fact and not open to relitigation.

If the flock admits he broke the law, they have to admit he lied.

If they have to admit he lied, they're in danger of asking themselves "so what ELSE has he lied about?"

At some level, they know they don't want to do that. If they had the self esteem to admit they blew it, they wouldn't have sold their soul to him in the FIRST place.

Can't answer yes or no. The felony convictions are on appeal to the New York Appellate court, we'll have to see what they say and their reasoning.

Trump has repeatedly tried to move the case from State court to Federal court and all such attempts have been denied.

So yes there was an FEC violation
No there wasn't. It was never contested. Cohen pleaded guilty to get get favorable sentencing.

No campaign violation, no conviction of Trump. Which is why Scumbag Merchant refused the former FEC COmmission to testify there was no FEC violation.

THis is not rockets science

Here is the interesting part. The sentence of Trump by Judge Merchan

Get ready for it. NOTHING AT ALL
So the judge admits in his sentence, it is nothing to talk about.

Pleading guilty is a conviction.

You can't appeal a guilty plea.

There seems to be a lot of self-denial about his convictions. Why can't his supporters admit the truth--that he was convicted on all 34 charges by a DC court.
Will this fact also follow the election result deniers path of massive resistance at first and now a comparatively few still hold out that Trump won the 2020 election?
Dude, daddy cult leader just became woke to sea and see as one refers to a body of water.

It is like the
Obama cult refuses to admit that
Obama deliberately targeted the incoming president with the smear that Trump and the Russians were a team. Obama unleashed the intelligence to ensure Trump got impeached and he managed to direct it two times. The Biden cult still claims Biden was a decent president.
