We hear what a great ally Israel is but let's not totally neglect the flip side in getting involved in a religious war. Our support has been costly in terms of American lives, money and freedom. We were buying the oil after it was developed by western companies, and it was reasonable for a while. I think both the US and Europe got greedy, and the sheiks also saw the opportunity to enrich themselves , and the trouble started.
