For instance, a Bit of stupidity I've heard repeated here was that the Crusades were "Defensive" Wars.

After Obama made his comments about the Crusades, some RW Columnists actually repeated this nonsense.

I look at them as entertainment radio announcers. None of what they say will happen, but they get paid to be overly dramatic and to make it be perceived as being possible. They do believe it and it takes them away from reality often. Dumb or average listeners wouldn't know or see that.
