How was the USA supposed to take a "lesson" from an incident occurring on Jan. 1968, (Pueblo) towards one that happened prior on June 1967 (USS Liberty) ???

Both ships were in international waters - in regards to the Pueblo (AFAIK claimed only by the USA) and N-Korea disputing this claim
However everyone knows and admitted that the USS Liberty was in international waters - incl. even Israel.

The USA and N-Korea are still technically at war since an armistice rather than a peace agreement ended the Korean War in 1953, and the two nations do not have formal diplomatic relations. Thus in April 1969 a North Korean MiG fighter shot down a U.S. Navy intelligence aircraft, killing all 31 men aboard.

And N-Korea NEVER claimed that it was an "accident".

Syria wasn't warned by the USA about an IDF attack onto the Golan Heights. - so I fail to get your point, and Syria with it's crappy 60 or so Pz IV. didn't stand a chance anyway.

However for your information, the Golan Heights had already been on the Zionist territorial agenda since the 20'ies!!. And the same goes for the West-bank and Gaza. Since the Zionist Dogma propagates that the "entire" British mandated Palestine of 1947/8 is supposedly Israel.

Nothing to do with "lefties" - the USS Liberty survivors had always upheld their claim and their accounts of the incident. It was the release of classified documents in IIRC 2008, that gave rise to uphold the demand for a "proper" investigation.
