Republicans loved to show off Herman Cain in 2012 and use him like their token. Herman Cain was never elected by Republicans as a governor or senator or any high office. Ben carson too. The GOP went out and found him. Ben carson has found a nitch but like Herman Ben's never won the support of Republican voters.

And Republicans don't have any blacks running for governor or senator. Seems black people can't get elected running as a Republican.

Because progressives seem to think that a black man can't be a conservative is my interpretation of the repub mind. They do seem to have a point though. Whenever a black person comes out as a con the progressives go ape shit with their attacks calling them Uncle Toms etc. So, in my opinion it's a legit opinion.

well, you do have to be kind of self-hating to vote for people who hate you.

So why then do minorities vote democrat? I mean, they've been doing it for decades and getting very little for their loyalty. Obviously, voting democrat isn't working, so why not try something different? At the very least, you'll have a bunch of politicians who can't ignore you any longer.
