Because of this unanimous Democrat opposition to funding our government, children will starve, soldiers will go unpaid, the elderly will freeze, bridges will crumble, and that mule ride guy in Jelly Stone Park will have to close down again.

How angry are the Democrats on here at their party for shutting down the government?

Good luck with that lie.

The GOP controls the House. They are attacking each other, while ignoring the American people. They are totally focused on helping Mr. Trump, and not on the helping the American people.

Syemour has flopped!

Twenty-one Republicans crossed over to vote with all the Democrats against the bill for a vote of 198-232.

If the KOAS Caucus voted for this bill, you can bet that neither the Democrats or moderate Republicans will vote for it.

As soon as they put a reasonable bill up for a vote, Democrats will vote for it.

Nobody controls the House at this point! :laughing0301:

The Speaker of the House is supposed to represent the entire House...not just his/her party.

The sooner McCarthy starts doing his job by speaking for the whole house, the sooner he'll really become the Speaker of the House.

Because it doesn't adhere to the agreement the speaker made with the president.

I'd say the GOP didn't have the votes.

Wtf? Is this from Benedict Donalds' new book called "The Art of Welching on a Deal"

Bs.

The GOP has enough votes to pass it on their own, right?

Syemour has flopped! As has SourBalls CandyCorn

All Democrats and 21 Republicans voted against the measure, which would have cut most domestic programs by 30 percent.

Was Seymur really all that stable to begin with?

Did you read your link yet?

You said "children will starve" because this bill was not passed. If you had read your own goddam link, you would see it cut domestic spending by 30 percent.

Nope.

There are a few courageous members who know right from wrong. Of course, they will now have to be inducted into the ever-growing RINO club.

Even My Kevin knows the bill was bullshit.
My point was that if the GOP has the majority; blaming the Democrats for a bill failing is politically silly

It would refresh American democratic-republican principles if the entire House were vacated and random eligible citizens in place.
Why just the House? Replace the entire federal bureaucracy.
