George, it's time we faced the truth. I know you're not a racist, but white people on the left have to stop denying the real problems. In the last 3 presidential elections, Democratic candidates presented 3 of the most qualified candidates for president, certainly in this century and perhaps in modern times. The only one who won was a white man. The two women were way better qualified than Trump, and they lost. The defeats had nothing to do with economic anxiety or the things both sides are talking about. The problem was racism and sexism. We cannot overlook the fact that in a couple of those terrible, heathen anti-woman Muslim countries, women have been elected Prime Minister, but the so-called greatest and most exceptional country in human history can't elect a woman to the presidency. Instead, they elected a man who was found guilty of defrauding Americans before his first term, then convicted on 34 felony counts in 2024, instead of two very qualified women.

And both times, he created huge messes that have crippled this nation. The one he's making now can't be blamed or excused by a pandemic.

Wrong on all counts. The Democratic Party platform of policies is not based on false white grievances, and it is not about imposing a white Christian nationalist theocracy based on white male control and domination.

It is, however, based on paternalistic contempt toward the black community and a belief that the community can't survive or thrive without the liberal white man's help.

My opinion of the Republican Party is based on watching things since I was a kid. White liberals didn't tell me anything.

65 years of life, 50 years of watching how Republicans did things, told me. Nixon, Reagan, both Bushes. Trump. Republicans in this state. You guys tell us how Democrats started the KKK. You tell us how Democrats voted against the Civil Rights Act. They did.

Southern Democrats. Today, the South is Republican. Those Southern Democrats are now Republicans.

The descendants of those Southern Democrats are now in forums like this, telling black people how today's Democratic Party is the party of slavery, Jim Crow, anti-civil rights, and racism. This is how dishonest you Republicans are.

It's funny you type this. There are whites here who disagree with me, whom I have never called a racist. You guys don't seem to get the fact that, after facing white racism for 65 years, I just might know when I am in an encounter with an racist. Furthermore, when I speak about the experience of blacks and the impact of white racism on blacks, why are you disagreeing with something you have not experienced?

I say you use racist rhetoric, that is true, you do. I say that, in straining to avoid being called a racist you use specific criteria, then turn around and refuse to use those criteria for anyone else.
