Why can't she say PUBLICLY that she will pledge to end the use of ICE detainers – requests by ICE to local or state law enforcement to hold an individual up to 48 hours beyond their release time so ICE can take them into custody for possible deportation?

Why can't she PUBLICLY say what she said as the DA in San Francisco that she defends a city’s sanctuary status, stating at the time, “We are a sanctuary city, a city of refuge, and we always will be.”?

Why can't she PUBLICLY say that she supports the decriminalization of all drug possession for personal use?

As for flip-flopping, no one flops like Trump.

If a politician has a position they discover is not what the American people want, then they should have the ability to listen. And that's what Harris has done.

As for Medicare For All, that is inevitable, and you can thank Trump and the GOP for that. They lied and said they had a replacement for Obamacare. They lied right to your stupid faces, and you STILL have not held them to account for that.

I am 99.99 percent certain the Republican Party's long term goal was to bring about single payer healthcare. They just couldn't admit they have no better plan.

"I have concepts of a plan."

Health care costs have been skyrocketing for half a century. And all that time, the Democrats have openly advocated for single payer healthcare. They initially called it "socialized medicine", and the Republicans had a fearmongering field day with that term.

But the Democrats have never made it a secret what their ultimate goal is.

Yet the GOP offered NOTHING in return to counter the Democrats.

When someone can't come up with a better plan and offers NOTHING, that is solid proof they have admitted to themselves they are surrendering to the Democratic plan.

They just couldn't admit it.

Sooner or later, that kind of two-faced gambit catches up with you. You find yourself promising the rubes you do have a better plan, and then you pray to your false god you never are put in a position where you will be able to enact this non-existent plan and get caught out.

Well, that's what happened. They got caught.

And the rubes let them get away with it. Amazing.

But you see, kids, the GOP didn't want all the power so they could enact some health care reforms. They wanted all the power for other more nefarious reasons.

And now they are asking for that power again so they can go to town with Project 2025.
