To Democrats women are political objects, not women. If they don't help them win elections they are wholly insignificant.

Women are abandoning the democratic party. Al Jazeera did a piece on it the other night. They commissioned a Gallup poll and discovered that 6% fewer women who voted democrat in the last presidential election, are likely to do it again. They most often cited a dangerous world situation and their lack of faith that our current administration can do anything about it...except make it worse.

Sharia law is social conservatism taken to its most extreme. Thus it logically follows that republicans would be more accepting of it.

No one is saying they approve of it. What I find perplexing is how they wont openly speak out against it. They will speak out against many international issues such as Putin and his antics, and Israel and the way they defend themselves.....but they are silent as it pertains to Sharia law unless they are asked about it...and rarely do I hear anyone who is liberal say "it is disgusting and those who follow it are pigs"....or anything close to it. More often than not, they say "they are entitled to their way of life and we have no right to intervene as long as they do not insist on bringing here to the US"

But if Michelle Bachman is against abortion? She is a pig. If Israel hits a civilian area due to an errant rocket? They are pigs. If a Christian is against gay marriage? That person is a pig.

A similar question.....how come NOW is silent when the left attacks conservative women? Where was NOW when Wasserman Shultz minimized the atrocity of wife beating? Where is the left when a white man is killed by a black man?

Heck, where is the left when the story does not meet their agenda?

ISIS is fighting for CHANGE in the lands they live...and to force all those that do not agree with THEIR way to convert or die.

Conservatives fight for traditional values....and are not asking anyone to change and be like them....simply asking for themselves to not have to change and be like someone else.

The syndrome is pretty much liberals always side with the oppressed.

For so many years terrorists claimed they were oppressed by Israel, which assumes that terrorists are from poverty strickened families or countries. Then we discover that many of the leaders of terrorism are rich or college educated. Many of them went to the same schools.

Liberals spend much of their time hating their country of birth. Terrorism is actually freedom-fighting to a liberal.
