Why are the conspiracy kooks in Congress still obsessing over January 6?

The nutters drove one of their own, Ray Epps, into hiding by blaming him for the Trump goon attack on outnumbered police defending democracy. Over 1,000 of them were identified, apprehended, indicted, and prosecuted. Not one undercover G-man masquerading as a Trump goon was ever found.

Why do they persist in trying desperately to blame others for what Trump insists (having pleasured himself by watching it for hours) was an enjoyable event for him?

House Republicans are bringing fresh attention to the Jan. 6, 2021 storming of the U.S. Capitol by a pro-Trump mob in ways that are earning praise from Trump and the party base...
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), one of Trump’s top supporters in Congress, is calling for a new select committee aimed at investigating the members of the bipartisan panel that conducted an extensive probe into the attack in the last Congress — and reached damning conclusions about Trump’s role in orchestrating the violence.
The renewed focus is opening up questions about how much further the House GOP will go down Jan. 6 rabbit holes amid pressure from Greene and other backers of Trump...

A number of House conservatives, including Greene, have continued to defend those prosecuted after they entered the Capitol illegally on Jan. 6, characterizing them as “political prisoners” who’ve been targeted unfairly by partisan prosecutors
Still other GOP lawmakers continue to broadcast unfounded accusations that the violence of Jan. 6 was fomented, not by Trump supporters, but by undercover federal agents — members of the so-called deep state who sought to use an attack on the Capitol as a pretense for prosecuting the former president after he left office...
The Republicans’ decision to revisit Jan. 6 on so many fronts has highlighted the sheer grip Trump maintains over the party, even as he’s been out of office for almost three years and faces numerous indictments for his actions surrounding the attack...

Did thousands of covert 'deep state' operatives impersonate Trump goons on Trump's "beautiful day"?

The minions of the Orange Baboon-God... his demigod Cult worshippers... cannot bring themselves to admit his complicity.

Many of these traitorous scumbags subscribe to the Joseph Goebbels School of Lying-Sacks-of-$hit.

Tell a lie loudly enough and broadly enough and often enough and it takes on a veneer of Truth.

Herr Doktor Goebbels is looking up at them from Hell and smiling.

Yeah, this really has been strange. They're REALLY interested in downplaying the Insurrection.

We get threads here constantly here, trying to dismiss it, and deny it.

You can't ask them, so who knows.

How does Trump's describing it as a "beautiful day" serve the conspiracy kooks' fantasy that there were thousands of costumed deep stater impersonators trying to make the Trump goons look bad?

They're conditioned to immediately -- and I mean immediately -- concoct a conspiracy theory that explains away any bad behaviors.

It can not possibly be them. It must be someone else. Always. No matter how spectacularly they have to mangle reality.

Yes, but let's not overlook the Machiavellian reason. Namely, preparing the minions for Jack Smith's prosecution of Trump and the irrefutable evidence he will present. Reality needs to be mashed like a potato so when Smith reminds the country of what happened it will be unrecognizable to The Following.

Because of one word - Guilt.

They know that what they did was traitorous. Like a modern day Lady Macbeth they are trying to wash away their guilt by blaming it on “tourists having a good time”, “Antifa”, the “FBI”…anyone but the actual MAGA traitors who did it.

Unfortunately, for them, we all saw it live and it is all preserved on videos, not to mention the thousands of selfies these idiots took while trashing the Capitol.
