Thank you for at least having the courage to respond. As you may already know history has a way of repeating itself. At the end of World War One Germany was utterly defeated and humiliated. Powerful sanctions were imposed on it for losing and its embarrassing loss was used as an object lesson for the world. The result was the rise of Hitler and a powerful war machine that tried to take over the world.
Many died to save Europe and the west was seen as next in line. It is entirely likely and logical that Franklin Roosevelt secretly conspired with Joseph Stalin and Winston Churchill to sacrifice Pearl Harbor to involve America and its vast economic and manufacturing resources in the effort to stop Hitler. The suspicious movement of US aircraft carriers out to sea while rusty old tubs remained harbored and wide open to air assault looms large in the minds of many thinking historians. Of course history was written by the victors to downplay the obvious.
This is how the managerial class rolls and average citizens are seen as pawns for the long view of bad ideas hatched by governments. At the end of World War Two Stalin quickly moved to fill the vacuum left by Hitler and the rise of state communism was off and running. A long Cold War ensued with the threat of nuclear holocaust as an unthinkable reality.
Governments are not known for encompassing intelligent, honest, humans which is why history keeps repeating itself. The US is the last remaining superpower, but its government is as corrupt as any in history. It sees Russia as a competitor for the hearts and minds of everyday people and it wants those average citizens to bow to it own central power. It believes it must utterly destroy Russia with public opinion and propaganda to move ahead with its own corruption.
That is why there is no effort to reach a negotiated settlement in Ukraine. The Biden administration made an inept exit from Afghanistan to make way for Russia's prompted, Nato-inspired aggression into Ukraine. The game is on.
The rules of the game may be final this time as Putin has the ultimate ace in the hole consisting of nuclear tipped ICBMs that can scorch the earth of America and blast it back to the stone age. Where is the real enemy? Washington would be a good guess.
Putin has now used hypersonic missiles in a test type situation in the Ukraine war theater, and it appears to be a test because it has our general's scratching their heads as to why he did it ? They seem to wonder if he did it because maybe he's running low on other types of weapon's or munitions system's/missiles, but IMO it could be that he's testing the weapon's to see how well they might perform, where as next he might consider tipping them with nuclear warheads ? Not sure what the capabilities of such a weapon might be if used as a delivery system for such a thing, but nothing can be ruled out at this point.
Like you say, if our weaponry is looked at by Russia as killing their soldier's, and destroying their equipment, and therefore leading them to an ultimate loss in their war even though Ukraine is using the arm's, uhhhhh what's going to be the long term effect of that one one wonder's ?
I mean here we have general's guessing as to why he used a couple of hypersonic missiles in the Ukranian theater, instead of knowing exactly why he used those missiles in theater. Not good.
Another thing, just like Putin has done in his nation, maybe our nation should do the same, and that is to can the open press for the duration of this thing, because the press are super instigator's if they want to be, and they might want to shine even if it's tremendously dangerous to our national security especially in concerning issues of this great of a magnitude.
You never know when you have a half-witted journalists that is looking for a big payday or win, otherwise be it within the so called journalistic reporting etc of it all, but yet then causes with their big fat mouths a great loss to American lives or to America whom he or she might sadly had cause to get caught up in the Russian/Ukranian crossfire of it all or worse get America caught up in the Russian cross hairs of it all, otherwise as a result of being reckless when reporting on such things.
Might be time for a journalist lock out before we get thrown into world war three by mentally unstable egotistical power hungry want to stir trouble up always types of butt head's.
