I have a1911 .45 ACP and I find it a little too bulky for concealed carry. I thought about a Springfield Armory XD compact for a while but I'm happy with my usual carry gun , a Glock 19 and I have a 10 mm for when I think I need a harder hitter.

I have a lot of fun at the range with my 1911 though.

I have a Beretta "Cougar" in .45. It's quite a bit smaller than a 1911 and much tighter. It's my concealed carry weapon which I carry in a shoulder holster under a jacket or even a sweater.

It's hot most of the year where I live. I carry in the waistband or appendix

The chubby double stack .45s like the SD are OK for in the waist band

God help us if we ever need it but a .380 is probably a smarter concealed carry option for civilians than the big bullet.

A .380 is OK but I actually find them to be too small for my hands. They are easy to conceal though
