After too many IDF soldiers learned the hard way about how their ethics and moral value set has been taken advantage of by ruthless Palestinians many young IDF members likely were tempted to sink to the level of depravity as their adversaries.

It is understandable.

When you conduct yourself with discipline when fighting a brutal, desperate foe it is human nature to sometimes dehumanize the enemy to weaken and fall victim to the temptation to treat your enemy the way he treats you (Israelis).

But that has its consequences as well.

No matter how tempting and how much they MIGHT deserve such treatment and no matter how angry and frustrated you feel you can't kill civilians.

If the IDF categorically kills civilians and HAMAS categorically kills Jewish civilians, who represents the GOOD guys, the GOOD side?

Some Israeli soldiers are indoctrinated from birth to view Arabs as sub-human filth living on land their g-d intended for Jews only. A few of those young soldiers find themselves stationed in sniper towers ringing the border of Gaza. Jews routinely target Gazan children from those towers with head shots counting extra. What happened on that beach was no accident. It was deliberate and it took place in front of a hotel filled with international journalists; which is the only reason you know about it. Jews can end the organized resistance in Palestine tomorrow by ending their illegal occupation. They won't, and that's their big mistake.

Jews "withdrew" from Gaza because they couldn't afford to pay 20,000 soldiers to guard 8000 squatters. Jews encircled Gaza with concrete and electrified fences and sniper towers from which heroic Jews regularly use Palestinian children for target practice.
