Wholesale vegetable prices rose 38.9% in July

No, you idiot, your city. Or town, or collection of hovels along the roadside for all I know.

Are there enough produce stands in your area to support the whole population?

I seriously ******* doubt it.

I don't really care what you care about. How's that? I don't understand why you think anyone does, you're really stupid

What's the deal with picking out one or two items, Just about everything has gone up.
Really important things. like property tax & cost of housing, to rent or to own.

Lies. If you are paying high prices for fruits and veggies, you fall under two categories.

You are trying to be hip.
You are aren't smart enough to shop around and deserved to pay high prices.

I paid $1 for 4 lbs. of yellow onion, $0.99 for 3 bunches of green onion, $1.00 for 3 cucumbers, $1.50 for 5 lbs of potatoes, $1.00 for 2 lbs of tomatos, $0.99 for 3 lbs of cabbage.

Talk abut inflation!

Just shy of 40%?

trump's economy is on the ropes.

The latest comes from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which reported Thursday a whopping 38.9% increase in wholesale dry and fresh vegetable prices from June to July, the biggest since March 2022.

I've spent over $1300 less on groceries year to date under Trump than the same period under Biden last year. Quit lying.

You are buying in those amounts because you don't have much money.

Prices are up in the stores 9 percent in veggies nationwide.

No, just us country folks. If you chose to live in the city, you will pay more. Right now I'm getting tomatoes and cucumbers for free. Thanks to friends and neighbors, black and white. We get along down here.

Buy them at the farmers market and can them to have year-round. That is the down south way.

Won't faze the EBTers. They just buy junk food and sugary drinks.

In much of the world the thinnest are the poorest. Oddly enough in the US the opposite is true.

Just a couple uf months ago, all the maga cult was excited about getting chickens for their back yard for eggs. How did that work out for them? I don't know of a single one who actually did it.

Oranges are about a dollar a piece now in some areas and some varities. My mom and dad used to put fruit in our stockings...now they may be more valuable than the gifts under the tree.
