Just for the record I am a registered Democrat and was a precinct captain. According to Pew institute studies I am only in agreement on issues with both major parties by only 50%. I would like to see the Democrat Party return to the party of Kennedy ,LBJ, Humphery and Carter. Catering to the wealthy elitist fringe has been their Down fall.No they don't and the last thing we need are suggestions from Republicans. Everything you suggested Democrats are already doing. Harris is toast. I don't see her even running. Neither side would believe any policies she finally decided to run on because they would all conflict with her past.though a recent poll shows that Harris is still the choice for democrats to lead the ticket in 2028 because she just received over 70 million votes .. I suspect this is just a temporary reaction .. I doubt Harris will run again .. so the question I have for democrats is who would they like to lead the ticket in 2028 for POTUS ?

I believe Newsom is very interested in being POTUS ..She was unable to flip even one state from red to blue, and all seven "battleground states" went to Trump. I don't see how she can possibly run again. Even an ailing Joe Biden may have had better results. I keep hearing Gavin Newsom's name to run, but haven't seen any actual evidence he's even interested in the job.
