Who will win? Trump’s Illegal Push for ZERO Food Stamps: Dems fought for $6B lifeline

Trump’s crew is fighting in court to gut food stamps to ZERO amid the shutdown for November, ignoring billions in contingency cash owed to 42M Americans. They lie it’s “only for disasters” bullshit, as the law says no such thing. This illegal stunt will flop hard in court.

Judges might force about 60% payouts…covers Nov.
What law would the judges be applying that calls for that 60% figure?

All the democrats have to do is vote for the CR. 14 times now they have told the foood stamp people to **** off. Trump didn’t do that, the democrats did.
Democrats don’t have to vote for a bill they don’t support. It’s up to the majority to work that out. Bwhahahahahaha.

They just have to vote for cloture, and only a few of them have to.

They can vote no on the CR afterwards if they feel like.

Why does Trump want 0 days worth of food stamps for recipients right now when they’re entitled to 6 billion in November?
Shumer shut down the government, dumbass.

A CR is simply an appropriation of funds for programs that have already been negotiated, voted on, passed, and signed into law.

This is not a place to try to start new spending or programs. In fact, new spending is PROHIBITED in a CR.

Summary

The program activities of most federal agencies are generally funded on an annual basis through the enactment of regular appropriations acts. When those annual appropriations acts are not enacted by the beginning of the fiscal year (October 1), one or more continuing appropriations acts (commonly known as continuing resolutions or CRs) may be enacted to provide temporary funding to continue certain programs and activities until action on the regular appropriations acts is completed.

There are six main features of CRs.

First, CRs have provided funding for certain activities (coverage), which are typically specified with reference to the prior fiscal year's appropriations acts.

Second, CRs provide budget authority for a specified duration of time. This duration may be as short as a single day or as long as the remainder of the fiscal year.

Third, in recent practice, CRs have typically provided funds based on an overall funding rate rather than in specified amounts.

Fourth, the use of budget authority provided in the CR has been prohibited for new activities not funded in the previous fiscal year.

Fifth, the duration and amount of funds in the CR, and purposes for which they may be used for specified activities, may be adjusted through anomalies.

Sixth, legislative provisions—which create, amend, or extend other laws—have been included in some instances.

Dang, sounds like the typical liberal BS. But, what the heck, let's play along. If, and that's a huge IF, if Trump is pushing for zero food stamps, would he be expected to thank Democrats for making it a reality?

Trumps administration says they’re not eligible because the money is only for natural disasters. Face it Marvin. You didn’t even know this court case was going on.

LOL, some lefty judge will make up whatever shit they want.

I read the article, wasn't this supposed to happen yesterday?

They're all too stupid to understand any of that, they only repeat what their masters tell them to.
