Hello Everyone - The midterm elections are only a few months off. There is a 90% chance the GOP will make big gains, possibly taking control of both houses of Congress. The enviable gridlock will follow, with neither side able accomplish much of anything. So, who will the voters blame for this in 2024? The President who can't get his agenda passed due to the bills sitting on Mitches desk that he won't bring to a vote, or the GOP controlled Congress who can't get their agenda passed because of the President's veto's?

JMHO - Too close to call at this point :dunno:

The voters will see how much more they've been paying for gas, food -- everything. They will see who's been telling them that inflation is a good thing and if they can't afford gas they should buy electric vehicles and similarly out-of-touch and insanely stupid shit.

The question is, "Who will Democrats blame?"

Because they damn well won't blame themselves.

They'll look at Biden's and the Dems' failures in his first two years.

They may simply skip the campaign and go straight to CWII when Trump announces his run. I may be completely off base with that belief but I strongly think this is what they'll do. The destruction they will have caused in another two years will make it impossible for them to win without cheating - LARGE - and they know if they try the same methods again, citizens will be watching them too closely for it to succeed. It will be easier for them to create a violent movement and try to delay elections as a result. IOW, the nation will slip into civil war. Cheating will NOT succeed again and the installed government rule in peace. It just isn't going to be allowed.

IMO, Republicans and Independents need to begin PUBLICLY creating a movement to institute massed civil disobedience to any laws, EOs, or other types of regulatory diktats that would come from an illegitimate government in DC. Those on the Left need to understand that they cannot rule over the rest of us by decree. If the "irregularities" that have been cited and demonstrated since the 2020 election had worked against THEM, we'd already be at war in the streets and any of them who deny that are EFFING LIARS.

They should blame the system of electing people. But they won't, because they're ignorant.

The GOP controls Congress? You're not very bright...are you, Bill?

The State Department is offering a reward of up to $10 million for information on foreign interference in U.S. elections, the department announced Thursday.

The department said in a release that it's looking for information leading to the identification or location of "any foreign person, including a foreign entity, who knowingly engaged or is engaging in foreign election interference, as well as information leading to the prevention, frustration or favorable resolution of an act of foreign election interference." Examples of that could include tampering with databases, running bot farm campaigns or malicious cyber activity.

The reward announcement comes ahead of the 2022 midterms, which will determine control of the House and Senate.

You're the one who made a reply that is just a personal attack. Why could the Republicans not control Congress?

They only need one seat change this year to get control of the Senate.

They need eight seats to control the House.

The House flipped in Trump's first House election.
The House flipped in Obama's first House election.
The House flipped in Bush's first House election.
The House flipped in Clinton's first House election.

So, why wouldn't the House flip again? It's happened FOUR TIMES IN A ROW.

In the Senate there are five toss up seats, Democrats hold Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Republicans hold Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

If all flip, Reps have control of the Senate.

You are probably spot on about this. These demonic people are capable of just about anything I believe.

Yes, the people had best beware you're exactly right. They have flat out brought to us death, the destruction of our economy, anarchy and mayhem in this country now, and we all were warned about it with eye's wide open.

Funny how the war in Ukraine has been shut completely up by the MSM isn't it ?? The scary thing about that situation is "look who was mostly behind it here, and who was pushing it up the most from here", ummmmmm it was the same crowd of folks that we can't seem to trust anymore within our midst. That's a coincidence, and really amazing when think about it, especially after what went on there between Biden and his son back in the Obama days (bragged about it on national TV).

Not only that but they're sending billion's of dollars in equipment that's probably getting bombed as soon as it touches ground in Ukraine. The war is probably lost by the Ukranian's, and that could be the reason why our MSM has backed off big time on it's reporting of it. Is there anything these Dem's touch that isn't annihilated, destroyed or placed in complete confusion afterwards ?

Consider Joe Biden's approval ratings even at this point. There's an answer.

Don't you wonder what the bureaucracy's approve might be at this point?

FBI
CDC
FDA
DOJ

It's all rot. All of it. Rot.

What a sad state we're in. It's shameful.

That interference is from within by the arrogant who do anything to win their agendas. Our Republic has died. Democracy reigns. And authoritarian dictums are what we see when we do anything the rulers do not want us to do.

Only political junkies like us follow politics that closely. The rest blame the President no matter who he is or what he did or didn't do.

Dementia and the commies tried and are still trying to blame everybody else for our woes, and the people aren't buying it. Gasoline prices are not his fault, the Ukraine war is not his fault, the labor shortage is not his fault, the supply chain problem is not his fault, the border is not his fault, inflation is not his fault, Afghanistan was not his fault, nothing is his fault, and again, the people are not buying it according to polls.

The Biden administration has been ruling by executive decree. He (those he represents, anyway, since none of this comes from him) hasn't needed the passing of bills to achieve the agenda.

As far as the voters are concerned, most certainly understand on an intuitive level that this country is going into the toilet but not that many really understand the actual nature of what is happening.
