Who Will Stop Elon Musk's Coup?

If Musk uses folks private info in any nefarious way, he should be thrown in prison for life.

Agreed

The world’s richest man now has the power to override congressional spending decisions and access to private information about every US taxpayer.
This is patently not true.

Elon Musk has zero authority to do anything. He can't order or stop an order of office supplies. He simply has access to Government payment information. Something that the American public should have access to.

It's about transparency of how our tax dollars are spent.

That's what he has. Access to what we, the people, should have access to.

Override Congressional spending?

How?
In what way?
Congress makes laws and has the purse strings. Not Trump, not Elon, not SCOTUS.

Are you sure you understand how our Government works?

A clarification if I may.
JFK authorized USAID with an EO, which is why Trump can modify it with an EO
Congress authorizes the funding, but has no say on line by line spending. Its not supposed to be a slush fund.
Spending is to align with State department priorities, which is why Trump put USAID under the State Department and Marco Rubio

DO not get why we say its one political party who have made ALL the mistakes.
The party named REPUBLICAN has had the leadership just slightly more than the party called the DEMOCRATES.
why are we not blaming them both?

Because the republicans you seek are not patriot nationalist conservatives but simply RINO all part of the Uniparty with their glad hands out too. That is Trump's problem. He refuses to join the Uniparty. He scares the crap out of the Uniparty because the guy cannot be bought, the guy doesn't scare and they have to make up dirt on him because they have no real dirt to hold over his head to coerce him. Unfortunately, he is just too rich and stubborn to even get rid of by making up dirt on him neither.

Just note the usual suspects here that spent four years defending Joe Biden tearing the USA down to the ground like an LA dumpster fire while now all up in a panic of alarm because Trump is cleaning up government saving us money and strengthening the country, and you will immediately see the problem of who DHS needs to look into.

#seditionists@insurrection
And, something they will NOT acknowledge, TRUMP! is merely following in Bubba Clinton's footsteps, who fired hundreds of thousands of federal employees.

“Elon Musk, often described as Donald Trump’s shadow president, has quickly morphed into something much more dangerous: Trump’s co-autocrat. Hitherto, Trump’s biggest threat to American democracy came when he incited the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021. The event was typically Trump in that it was lurid, violent, theatrical, and televised. January 6, like Trump’s first term, demonstrated that he had the ability to menace democratic norms and spur on mayhem—but not to really control the ultimate operation of government.

For his second term, Trump has tried to make amends for that failure by recruiting true believers who share his passion for subduing the government, including running roughshod over the system of checks and balance. Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, who specializes in taking over large companies and remaking them in his image, has been Trump’s most important ally in this agenda, acting as considerably more than an aide. In truth, Musk is emerging as a government within the government, using the time-honored revolutionary tactic of developing dual power in order to seize control.

On Sunday, the Financial Times reported that

‘Musk vowed to unilaterally cancel hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of government grants after apparently gaining access to review the US Treasury’s vast payments system, a move that prompted the sudden resignation of one of the department’s most senior officials.’”

Unelected, unappointed, unconfirmed – this is fascism at its most basic, facilitated by Trump.
Just admit it: y'all are all scared of what Musk is going to uncover and he's already uncovered a lot.

Used to be that the term RINO referred to moderate Republicans who sometimes voted with Dems

Now it means any Republican not sufficiently kowtowing to Tramp
