Lutnick is most closely tied to the tariffs, so Trump would surely throw him under the bus. It no longer matters that Lutnick contributed millions. It's hard to see him just quit on his own.

Tariffs have been mis-identified as the problem. Trade imbalances are the problem which are not correctable with tariffs.

BTW, CNBC just mentioned a WSJ story that came out over the w/e with sources saying Lutnick and Bessent waited for Navarro to be in a meeting outside of the West Wing and then quickly went to the Oval and convinced Dotard to pause the tariffs.
