I believe that it was indeed inspirational to the fascist minions who now make up the Democratic base. Dems were never anti-war, nor anti-military, nor anti-establishment. Their aim was always for the government to be powerful, intrusive and to pervade every aspect of our lives.

Hitler was a socialist. He stated often that he needed the capitalists for his war effort, but that after he finished his conquering of the free world, he would bring them to heel. They were already producing according to his directives, so what did he mean by that, if not a complete government takeover of their industries? No wonder Democrats want to emulate him.

So Trump’s speeches about restoring America’s greatness were modeled after Hitler’s. Hitler wanted to restore Germany’s greatness after its loss in WWI. Trump wanted to restore our greatness after eight years of Obama’s apology tour.

The big difference between Trump and Hitler is Trump had no plan to take over the world and impose a “Thousand-Year Reich.” Tump was anti-war.
