My knowledge of the Slavic regions ends at the start of the Ukraine border. (Never been East of Slovakia)

I am sure that Ukraine is very much Slavic , Muscovy is a Mongol empire , before Mongols they have been Finnish speakers (Moksha, etc. tribes )
