I think maybe it was Mao.

But I think maybe the most concerning aspect of Mao is not just the deaths he personally oversaw, it is the fact that today Mao is considered a hero in his own country, and in the US the Left adores him. Thus, the ideology that murdered hundreds of millions is alive and well in the world, as his legacy continues to this day.

Mohammed.
I never thought of that, granted, Mao murdered far more when he was alive, but Mo may win the prize in terms of numbers murdered because of his sick ideology after he was dead and buried

In fact, if you include people they have murdered after they have died due to their sick ideologies that the lemmings follow, you might even say Karl Marx himself was the biggest murderer of all time.

But how many people died from Covid?

I suppose they will keep on dying, but right now Mao has him by hundreds of millions of deaths

Also, the fact that Mao was a communist, a country that Fauci used fund the Covid experiment, you could still pin those deaths on both Mao and Marx in some way.

Interesting question. As for Excalibur's response being Mohammed, the number of people he killed will never be completely known, but the killings in the name of his religion make the others pale in comparison.
One thing that can be a factor in man's inhumanity to man is ideology.
Nazi Party: National Socialist German Workers Party.
Soviet Union: Marxist/Socialist political ideology.
China under Mao Zedong. Marxist/Socialist ideology.
North Korea: Marxist/Socialist ideology.
Laos: Pol Pot. Marxist/Socialist ideology.
Islam: Theocracy. Specifically Islamic ideology.
That's not to let other types of governments off the hook.
United States: Approximately 12 million indigenous people were killed in the forming of the nation.
If we look at DNA, the Bonobo Chimpanzee is closest to our DNA and is a vicious tribal ape and kills outside interloping Chimpanzees. We come by our behavior naturally. We are, at the very basic level, tribal in nature.
Theocratic and Marxist/Socialist ideologies contribute to an us versus them mentality, especially with the Abrahamic religions.

A rather stark video Votto , although in the broader perspective most simply will write it all off unaware the exact same malady that is tearing the USofA apart

but you knew that........ ;) ~S~

It was that guy in 5th Century China ... weighed 450 pounds by best estimate ... bigger than Hitler and Stalin combined ...

I would say high up in the running would be Hong Xiquan, a Chinese scholar who in 1850 failed his civil service exam and declared himself to be the brother of Jesus established his heavenly kingdom in South China. His 15 year Tai Ping Rebellion killed between 20 and 60 million people.

But how many people died from Covid?

At the absolute top, around 7 million globally. COVID was of no significant risk and had no significant impact.

This is a fact that most people simply refuse to accept or believe.

History is written by the victors. Stalin was a mass murderer of epic standards but he was a confidant and a friend of US president FDR and an ally of the U.S. during WW2 so his atrocities were and still are overlooked by the mainstream media.

you are wrong, Lenin was the biggest mass murderer in human history. bandit Mao (without Lenin and his Bolshevik gang ) would be hung like a dog , by an obscure war - lord . The goes to stalin and hitler , they would be hung like the dogs (without Lenin and his Bolshevik gang )
