I saw her brother in "King of the Gypsies" before I ever heard of her. From then on, I see her and I see her brother. That puts me off.

I know she's hot, especially in the early episodes (except the pilot), but she has a resemblance to a manager I had once, who I did not get along with at all. The manager wasn't hot like Jennifer, but a family-type resemblance was there. Imagine she had a bitter, lesbian older sister.

I am not a "blonde bombshell" kinda guy.
I way-way prefer brunettes.
Also, as you say, sex appeal goes a long way. A woman can be beautiful, but not have it.
Example - Lady Gaga. No one is going to put her up for some major hot woman of the year. Not even close.
But if you have ever seen her talk, and act in some movies.... she has sex appeal dripping off her. So she, sexually, is very appealing.
