Our state issued driver's licenses which are pretty hard to fake, embossed , etc. I also have the voter card that was issued to me. I've shown both when I've gone to vote but no one's ever asked me to I never saw anybody else show it or ask for it. I don't think it's necessary in my small town. It might be a good idea and bigger cities for nobody knows each other. It's an issue for the election officials to figure out not the politicians.

Just wanted to add there should be good legal guidelines too.
